The move to SOLIDWORKS has allowed us the flexibility to create designs clearly but quickly and to amend them easily when needed. It also plays an essential part of our manufacturing process – The models we create not only provide visuals for customers, but accurate dimension drawings for fabrication. We are now also fortunate to be able to use it in conjunction with our CAM machinery – a CNC and robotic arm.

As with any large move, our initial support requirements were quite large but CCSL were always available to answer queries fast and effectively. Members of our department find the technical support service readily available and always easy to deal with. Perhaps one of the more beneficial things that we find from working with CCSL is the high quality of training they provide. Our engineers frequently visit CCSL for training and exam days, always coming away satisfied. The relaxed atmosphere and the relationship we now have with the trainers makes everything more enjoyable.

The most recent change that CCSL has helped us implement is the introduction of the Product Data Management (PDM) operating system, which has already proved successful. Our designs are now completely accessible and transparent to areas across the whole business. Being able to work in this manner has again only been made possible due to the effort put in by the team at CCSL. Again, our system was fully configured to suit our needs and processes. The automated work flows created have helped us improve efficiency and shortened drawing release times. This would have been unattainable without their help.

My first contact with the team came after a previous employer made the switch to SOLIDWORKS from another product. The training provided has always been of a very high standard and although I am very familiar with the software, on the rare occasion where I need support I am never left waiting.

I was offered a design engineer post within a thriving injection moulding company in 2014. I accepted, with the proviso that they invested in a seat of SOLIDWORKS with my nominated reseller being CCSL.
